Tuesday 29th April

Oh I wish this cold would go away. It’s over a week now since it started. Today my face is numb down one side and I have ear-ache! No use moaning about it I suppose, it isn’t going to make it go away any quicker is it.

Had to run about this morning to take R to get Grand Theft Auto which came out today. Apparently Asda sold out at midnight. Not much chance of getting the game there then! We managed to get the game in the end though, so I’ve barely seen him all day.

Boring football on the telly tonight, so I reckon I’m off to my bed with my book for some peace and quiet and to bury my numb face in the pillow.

I’m reading a book called A Quiet Belief In Angels. I can’t really tell you what it’s about because I’m not completely sure LOL. It’s written from a young teenager’s perspective as he’s growing up in the late 30′s early 40′s. I’ve just got to where World War II is just about finishing. Thing is, even though I can’t really describe what’s going on, I can’t seem to put the book down.

Monday 28th April

I was very surprised to find that yesterday I got Picture of the Day on The Photographers Corner The biggest surprise of it was that the photograph was really just a snap shot of Isabelle. I posted it as a comparision to an edited portrait of her. The picture that got PoTD shows Isabelle in her true light… mucky face, hair all over the place looking like she’s been dragged through a hedge backwards.

I also managed to get this photograph of M into the Hotshots. I’m really pleased about that, because this one took quite a lot of work to get it the way I wanted it.

Sunday 27th April

It’s a really miserable day today! All grey and raining. We watched the processional Grand Prix, except I fell asleep for the last three laps. yes it was that interesting! Although Kovaleinen had a huge off and ploughed into the tyre barrier head on at 140mph. I need to go to the F1 website and see if he’s ok.

Photographically – bugger all to photograph today, so I ended up wandering around the garden and the only thing that was worth photographing was a little ol’ dandelion. So here it is. Nice and bright though. The only bit of colour in an otherwise grey day!

Saturday 26th April

Last night M agreed to me photographing him. He hates his photo taken, so I was surprised but pleased.

I love low key photography where there’s barely any lighting, so that was the look I was trying for. Here are the results.

Welcome to my life!

I’ve started this personal blog to run alongside my Personal Photography Project Blog entitled Anything Edible. I’ve enjoyed keeping that blog up to date so far and thought that I’d keep this blog too. Hopefully it will contain bits about me and my life, but it will definately contain photographs I’ve taken.

I am very proud of my photograph and how far I’ve come in such a little time.

I never thought that when I set up The Photographers’ Corner two years ago, that I’d be this ‘into’ photography still. I just can’t get enough photography.

So now I’ve got this set up (basically) I can start making ‘real’ posts here.
